What is K’Crushka?

When I moved back to Richmond over a decade ago I was looking for ways to get involved in the local disc golf community. I found that community at a Saturday random doubles event.
There were two guys who were there just about every week. I affectionately call them the “Statler and Waldorf” of the disc golf community. They weren’t there to play disc golf, but to follow the action and provide a running commentary.
These guys had sound effects and catch phrases for just about any occasion. If your disc hit a tree, they would shout: “Ka-tree-ska!” If you threw into the water: “Awwww…ker-sploosh-ka!” Hit a root: “Root-abaga!”
But on that occasion where you managed to avoid all the obstacles and hazards, where you really leaned into your drive and put in the extra effort to launch an absolutely massive throw down the fairway, for that exceptional drive they would both shout: “KaCRUSHka!”
